Fed: Suspicous fire at Tent Embassy in Canberra
A suspicious fire destroyed a shed and a tent at the Aboriginal tent embassy in Canberra
last night.
Police have arranged emergency accommodation for five residents of the embassy whose
structures were destroyed.
Tent Embassy residents have been interviewed by police about the fire and police have
urged members of the public with any information about the fire to come forward.
A suspicious fire damaged a shed at the Tent Embassy last year and two huts on the
site were firebombed in 2002.
